Short text messages to and from a phone, with the cost known before sending and STOP always respected.
What it is
Text messages still reach almost every phone. A company uses them for reminders and short replies.
Two things matter: knowing what a message costs before it is sent, and stopping at once when the recipient answers STOP.

What TrooIDs built
SMS reminders and replies, built and tested in a lab with test numbers:
- the cost is known before sending: the channel counts how many message parts a text needs, character by character;
- a reply is accepted only when the provider signed it, so a forged STOP is ignored;
- STOP blocks the next message and START opens the channel again.

Architecture
- Owed: a Dutch number or sender name; the number is pending.
- Owed: the signature check uses one provider's documented scheme as a stand-in; the chosen provider's own scheme has to be proven again.
